Introduction: MVP hunting needs not really a guide on how to, what to, why to... I guess we need little info on this. But, there are also ways on how to improve the effectiveness, and efficiency of your regular MVP Hunting routines. Let's take a look what I have to offer...

#1 Knowing Sources
MVPs can be spawned through various sources; they need not to be found solely at the original spawn spots as designed in Ragnarok Online. In order to really go after the MVP card that you want, you gotta use it all, by hook or by crook:

Original Spawn Spots
MVPs are designed to spawn at certain places as of the original Ragnarok online's context. To find out more where do they spawn, please visit: www.ratemyserver.net.

Abracadabra
A Sage's Skill which allows you to cast a random skill by chance. The skill that you would be looking for is the "????" and then "Class Change". It will allow you to turn ANY regular monsters in the game into a boss type monster, mini-boss too. This means, a Poring could turn into a Ghostring or even a Tao Gunka. Note that a level 8 of this skill would be sufficient, you don't have to max it.

Bloody Branches
Similar to what Dead Branches do, just that instead of allowing you to summon a random monster, Bloody Branches allow you to summon a random Boss type monster (includes Mini-bosses too).

#2 Knowing Your MVP
Different servers offer different configurations or modifications made to the monsters in general. In Astral RO, some MVPs are buffed higher than the usual, the reason is pretty simple, this is a High Rate Server, and therefore if MVPs were to be killed easily, cards of each kind could be made available easily.

@mi (monster info) is a very useful command to use to see if the drop of the particular monster has been changed.

Each and every MVP has their respective spawn intervals, as well as "extra time". Garm/Hatii spawns every 2 hourly in general, and has an extra time to 1-10mins. This means that, after the death of each and every Garm/Hatii, you've to wait at least 2hours, to a max of 2hours and 10mins for the next one to spawn

#3 Which Class To Use?
I could easily conclude that ALL classes could be used to hunt MVPs. But the question is. Which class gives you the best effectiveness and efficiency? Allow me to present you 3 favourites:

Paladin (Royal Guard)

Picture
  1. It has a Peco-peco or a Gryphon (increased movement speed)
  2. Sacrifice skill which could kill some MVPs in just 5-10 hits, and highest damage inflicting Skill at a larger damage per hit, However, Sacrifice is rendered useless if your MVP is a Ghost type monster, like Evil Snake Lord, High Wizard Kathrinne and etc. Sacrifice's damage is based on your TOTAL HP. So just concentrate on VIT, and use gears and cards which helps you to boost your total HP like Tao Gunka Card, Giant Whisper Card, Green Ferus Card and etc.

Ranger

  1. Wargs give incredibly fast movement speed. It gives you an advantage of scouting the area faster than the other classes.
  2. Ranged attacked, which also gives u a cutting edge and an advantage of killing/hitting/touching the MVP first.

Shura/Sura

  1.  If you saw an MVP hit em with Asura. (Of course that doesn't work for all the MVPs, only ~90% of them)

#4 Strategies
There's more to this than what has been said above...

Split-Seconds Some MVPs die fast. Therefore, every second counts. Hotkey your mobsearches, get moving as soon as the MVP spawns.

Taking Chances @warp .. look around. You may land in the screen with the MVP ( I would not recommend this )

Routes Some maps where the MVP spawns are just too HUGE or TOO complicated. Route out your search path, and see which is the fastest route for the amount of area covered.

Spawn Spots Some MVPs like Amon Ra, FBH and Turtle General has a static/regular spawn spot.

Recording Grab a pen and a piece of paper to take down the time the last MVP was killed. Jot down the time immediately after the MVP died.

@autoloot Some maps have mobs giving you TONNEs of "rubbish" which might clog up your inventory space, which could result to OverWeight, and/or insufficient Inventory Room so much so if the MVP drops a card, if might get landed on the floor, and someone else looted it. At best, use @autoloot 10 or use @alootid
Bubble-Gums Tasty and sweet bubble gum. Within 30 miuntes duration after eating it. Item droprate will increase 100% for 30 minutes. Increase your chances of MVP card drops.
